Death Investigation in Lawrence County
Date of News Release: 12/10/2009
(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland received a call from Lawrence County Sheriff Garrett Roberts. He requested assistance at 5957 State Highway 1760 in reference to two deceased males that were located inside the residence. Philip Thomas Moore (55) and Stephen Eugene Robertson (52) were located in the residence and were pronounced deceased by the Lawrence County Coroner. Mr. Moore had sustained numerous injuries from an apparent altercation. Mr. Robertson had sustained a single gunshot wound. Both Mr. Moore and Mr. Robertson were transported to the State Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort for an autopsy. There are currently no additional suspects of interest. This investigation is currently ongoing by Det. J. Goble U/1017.
