Robbery Investigation and Arrest
Date of News Release: 08/28/2009
(Ashland, Ky.) -- On Monday August 24th, 2009 Kentucky State Police received a call in reference to an armed robbery of the Appco #79 located at 8283 US 23 south of Louisa, Ky. A male subject entered the location and produced a knife and removed cash from the register. On Tuesday August 25th Daniel Bell Jr., was arrested and charged with Robbery 1st Degree. Additional information was received that Kenny L. Moore, Melessa Castle, and Kayla Cochran aided and assisted Daniel Bell Jr. in the commission of the Robbery. On August 26th they were arrested and charged with Complicity to Commit Robbery 1st Degree. The case is currently under investigation by Detective Michael Murriell U/943.
