Fatal Collision on State Route 1 in Greenup County

Date of News Release: 07/10/2009

(Ashland, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Ashland responded to a fatal accident on State Route 1 in Greenup County. A black ford ranger pickup truck was traveling westbound when he went to make a left turn into a residential drive and struck an oncoming Harley Davison Motorcycle traveling eastbound operated by Homer Morgan. Homer Morgan was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
