Rape Investigation & Arrest in Greenup County

An image of Michael Wireman, click here to enlarge in a new window   (Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police Ashland received a call from Greenup County 911 on January 10th , 2009 in reference to a report of a forcible rape of a female. Kentucky State Police conducted an investigation on this allegation and arrested Michael Shaun Wireman on January 10th 2009. Mr. Wireman was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center on charges of Rape 1st Degree, Sodomy 1st degree (2 counts), and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. This case is under investigation by Detective Michael Murriell.
