Two Arrested in Criminal Abuse of Two Year Old Perry County Child

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On Tuesday July 28, 2009, at approximately 1:40 P.M., KSP Post 13 in Hazard received a call advising that a two year old child had been discovered injured at a residence in the Pigeon Roost community of Perry County. Troopers arrived at the scene and located the child, who was transported to the Hazard ARH for treatment of injuries. Albert Noble, a boyfriend to the child's mother, was arrested and charged with criminal abuse first degree. The mother, Ashley Throckmorton, was also arrested on the charge of criminal abuse second degree. Both were lodged in the KY River Regional Jail. This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Vicki Eversole.
