Perry County Death Investigation
Date of News Release: 04/29/2009
(Hazard, Ky.) -- On April 29, 2009 at approximately 11:33 hours Post 13 Hazard received a report of a body in a burned out residence in the Brownsfork community of Perry County. Units were dispatched to the scene along with the Perry County Coroner's Office. The body of an unknown subject was located in the residence and was sent to the Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort for an autopsy. Trooper Tim Mullins, Arson Investigator James Burnett, and the Kentucky State Fire Marshall's Office are handling the investigation.
