Search Warrant & Arrest in Perry County

Date of News Release: 03/04/2009

(Hazard, Ky.) - On 03-03-2009 Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at the residence of Michael Deaton in the Combs Community of Perry County finding illegal prescription drugs inside residence. Stacey Combs was also located at residence and was wanted for parole violation. She was arrested and lodged in Kentucky River Regional Jail. Mr. Deaton was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. This incident is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
