Fatal Collision on KY 55 in Spencer County

Date of News Release: 07/24/2009

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Mr. Damond E. Board was traveling north bound on KY 55 in Spencer County. For unknown reasons Mr. Board's vehicle crossed the center line striking Ms. Tammy M. Boston's vehicle head on. Mr. Board was pronounced dead at the scene by Spencer County Coroner. Ms. Boston was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital and three juveniles were transported to Kosair Hospital. Trooper Hunter Martin was assisted by Trooper Frank Flowers & the Spencer County Sheriff's Department. The accident is still under investigation by Trooper Hunter Martin.
