Fatal Collision on I-64 in Franklin County

Date of News Release: 07/22/2009

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Joey Trimble age 36 of Paris, Ky. was traveling eastbound on I-64 on ramp. According to witnesses Mr. Trimble lost control of his Geo Tracker while overtaking another vehicle on the on ramp. Mr. Trimble's vehicle overturned several times and came to rest on vehicles top. Joey Trimble was pronounced dead upon arrival at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
