Former Youth Minister Arrested on 13 Counts

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- In August 2008, Post 12 Frankfort detectives received a sexual abuse complaint. The investigation has led to Gordon H. Lunceford, age 47 of Richmond, KY being indicted on 13 sex related charges.
The six month investigation by the Kentucky State Police was presented to an Anderson County Grand Jury. On June 6, 2009 the Anderson County Grand Jury indicted Lunceford on 13 offenses: Rape 3rd (6 counts), Sexual Abuse 1st (1count), Sodomy 3rd (5 counts) and Sexual Abuse 2nd (1 count).
At the times of the offenses the victims in this investigation were juveniles. The accused is a former Youth Minister at churches in Anderson, Franklin and Madison Counties. The investigation is continuing by Detective Luke VanHoose, Kentucky State Police Post 12, Frankfort (502) 227-2221.
