Injury Collision on Pollitt Lane in Scott County

Date of News Release: 06/23/2009

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- A 70 CC motorbike was being operated by a 9 year old juvenile. The motorbike was traveling east on Pollitt Lane. Timothy R. Stewart was operating a 2002 Ford pickup was traveling west on Pollitt Lane. The juvenile was not paying attention and struck Mr. Stewart's vehicle head-on. The juvenile was ejected. The juvenile was transported to the UK Medical Center. The juvenile was wearing a helmet. The collision is under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
