Franklin County Pursuit and Arrest

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- At approximately 1:10 PM, The Frankfort Post received a call of a hit and run collision. The vehicle was located exiting I-64 west at exit 53A. Tpr. Shaver attempted to stop the vehicle and the driver David B. Lahrmer, age 36 of Cincinnati, OH. refused to stop and a short pursuit began. The pursuit ended on US 127. The driver refused to comply with the trooper's commands and was tased and arrested. The driver was treated and released at the Franklin County Regional Hospital for alcohol intoxication and minor injuries. He was lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail charged with, Fleeing 1st, DUI, Resisting Arrest, 2 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st and 2 counts of Leaving the scene of a collision.
