Methamphetamine Lab Incident and Arrests in Laurel County

(London, Ky.) -- On Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 5:00 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, in London responded to a report of a Methamphetamine lab at a residence on Old State Road in Laurel County, Kentucky.
Upon arrival Trooper First Class Don Sivils, Trooper Mike King, Trooper Chris Roberts and Sergeant Steve Walker discovered seven adults and two children inside the residence. Upon further investigation an active methamphetamine lab was discovered along with several items used in the production of methamphetamine.
TFC Sivils arrested and charged the following people:
Earl E. Yaden, 42, of Lily, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st and controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th.
Tina J. Nantz, 44, of Lily, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st and controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th.
Kenneth W. Taylor, 22, of London, charged with controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th.
Jeremy Jones, 22, of Lily, charged with controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th.
Dion K. Mayne, 21, of Lily, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st, controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th and drug paraphernalia.
David Jones, 25, of Lily, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st, controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th, Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense, Possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Brittany K. Yaden, 21, of East Bernstadt, charged with controlled substance endangerment to a child 4th.
All individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
The children, ages 2 and 11, were taken into protective custody and the Laurel County Department of Families and Children was contacted.
TFC Sivils is continuing the investigation and was assisted, at the scene, by Trooper King, Trooper Roberts, Sergeant Walker, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the Laurel County Department of Public Safety and the Laurel County Department of Families and Children.
