Three Arrested in Methamphetamine Lab Incident

(London, Ky.) -- On Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 11:01 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, in London responded to a report of a Methamphetamine lab in a camper at residence on south US 25 in Laurel County, Kentucky.
Upon arrival Trooper First Class Don Sivils, Trooper Mike King and Trooper Chris Roberts discovered three individuals in the camper. A search of the camper revealed two active methamphetamine labs, approximately 4 to 5 grams of methamphetamine, several items used in the production of methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription medication.
TFC Sivils arrested and charged the following people:
Brian R. Bernardo, 26, of London, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine first offense, possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense, possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substance 3rd degree 1st offense.
Stacie L. Bernardo, 25, of London, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st offense, possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense and possession of marijuana.
Melissa L. Mink, 24, of Corbin, charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st offense, possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense and possession of marijuana.
All individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
TFC Sivils is continuing the investigation and was assisted, at the scene, by Trooper King, Trooper Roberts and the Laurel County Department of Public Safety.
