Whitley County Wanted Suspect Arrested in Alabama

(London, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, August 05, 2009, at 02:31 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11, in London, received notification from the Fort Payne Police Department in Alabama that James Harold Jones had been stopped by one of their officers.
Mr. Jones is wanted in Whitley County, KY on the charges of Reckless Homicide and Driving on a DUI Suspended License.
Upon verification, of our warrant and extradition requirements, the Fort Payne Police Department arrested Mr. Jones without incident.
Mr. Jones is lodged in the Fort Payne City Jail pending extradition to Whitley County, KY.
Detective Colan Harrell is in charge of the investigation.
