News Release

Clay County Death Investigation

Date of News Release: 02/19/2009

(London, KY) - On Thursday, February 19, 2009, at approximately 8:30 AM, the Kentucky State Police, Post 11-London, was contacted by the Clay County Sheriff's Office for assistance to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a four (4) month old female infant. The infant was pronounced dead at Manchester Memorial Hospital at 8:00 AM by Clay County Coroner Jim Trosper. KSP Detective Mark Allen and Trooper Jeff Senters responded to Manchester Memorial Hospital and began the investigation. The body has been transported to Frankfort for an autopsy to determine cause of death. Det. Allen is the lead investigator and was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Clay County Coroner.
