(Barbourville, KY) - On 2/11/2009 at 12:50 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a call from Knox General Hospital about a subject that was seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Troopers Shane Jacobs and Jay Sowders responded to the complaint to investigate the incident. The victim, Kirby Taylor age 29 of Walker, KY had gone to the residence of his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Hendrickson of Jarvis, KY.
