Meta Double Kwik Robbery Investigation

Date of News Release: 11/17/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Male subject entered the store and threatened to brandish a firearm in an attempt to rob the cashier on duty. The alleged perpetrator did not present the weapon however only made threats to do so prior to leaving the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries and the incident is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police post in Pikeville.
