Child Restraint Seat Installation Check Up

Date of News Release: 11/06/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Did you know that 90% of child restraint seats are installed incorrectly? That means your child may be at risk of injury if you're involved in a vehicle collision.

This press release is to let the public know that the Kentucky State Police want to see you and your child arrive alive, therefore, TFC. Mike Goble will be conducting child restraint seat installation checks each Wednesday between 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. at the Kentucky State Police Post in Pikeville. This is a courtesy check only. Caretakers of the child will be instructed in the proper installation of their child restraint seat.
