KSP Promotions & Assignments for Post 09 Pikeville

Date of News Release: 11/03/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - November 3, 2008 Kentucky State Police Post 09 Pikeville, Captain Jeff Mayberry is assigned to Post 09 Pikeville as the Post's Commander. Captain Mayberry is a twenty-two year veteran of the Kentucky State Police and is originally from Clark County Kentucky. Sergeant Randy Woods U/161 is assigned to Post 09 Pikeville as Squad Sergeant for Martin, Johnson, and Magoffin Counties, Sergeant Woods is a native of Floyd County and an eleven year veteran of the Kentucky State Police. Trooper First Class James Scott Hopkins was promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to Post 10 Harlan, Ky. Sergeant Hopkins is eighteen year veteran of the Kentucky State Police. We welcome Captain Mayberry and Sergeant Woods to Post 09 and we wish Sergeant Hopkins the very best at Harlan Post.
