Fatal ATV Collision on Justice Branch in Floyd County

Date of News Release: 10/14/2008

(Pikeville, KY) - Mark Kidd was operating a 2008 Honda TRX500 ATV northbound on Justice Branch at Dana in Floyd County. He lost control of the ATV, left the roadway and hit posts in the yard of 400 Justice Branch. Mr. Kidd came back onto the roadway and overturned. He was then ejected into the creek. Mr. Kidd was pronounced dead on the scene by Floyd County Deputy Coroner Roger Rowe. The accident is under investigation by Trooper Chris Hicks.
