Escape from Pike County Jail

(Pikeville, KY)- Michael R. Gannon, date of birth 12-30-1981 walked away from the work release program at the Pike County Detention Center. Troopers responded to the scene but were unable to locate the subject in the area. Mr. Gannon had been previously lodged in the detention center on a robbery 1^st conviction and is presumed to be armed and dangerous. Gannon is a white male, 5'8" tall, 140 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the subject, please contact the Kentucky State Police at (606) 433-7711. The case is under investigation by Trooper Slone.
