Ten New Troopers Report to Post 9-Pikeville

(Pikeville, KY)- After 23 weeks of intensive training, the first Kentucky State Police class in more than two years graduated on February 25, 2008. Ten Troopers from Cadet Class 86 reported to Pikeville-Post 9 today.

A death investigation on Saturday required that all ten of the new Troopers come to work one day early. On Sunday the new Troopers reported to a crime scene in the Beaver community of Pike county to assist with a search of the surrounding area for human remains.

A list of the new Troopers assigned to Kentucky State Police Post 09 are as follows:

• Trooper Joshua Brewer, Combs, Ky.
• Trooper Danny Caudill, Harlan, Ky
• Trooper Randall Coots, Smilax, Ky.
• Trooper Joseph Dials, Mallie, Ky.
• Trooper Dallas Greer, Corbin, Ky.
• Trooper Richard Russell, Hazard, Ky.
• Trooper Michael Webb, Phyllis, Ky.
• Trooper Isaac Whitaker, Viper, Ky.
• Trooper Donald White, Hindman, Ky.
