Fatal Collision on KY 753 in Garrard County

Date of News Release: 03/24/2008

(Richmond, KY) - Stephen H. Moberg was traveling East on KY 753. Mr. Moberg's vehicle left the roadway and Mr. Moberg overcorrected. Mr. Moberg's vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck the westbound Scottie Sizemore's vehicle. Stephen H. Moberg was ejected from his vehicle. Scottie Sizemore was extricated by the Camp Dick Fire Department and flown to UK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Stephen H. Moberg was pronounced dead at the scene by the Garrard County Coroner. Alcohol use is suspected to be a contributing factor in this collision.
