Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond Welcomes New Troopers

(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond welcomes two recent graduates of the Kentucky State Police Academy at Frankfort. Trooper Phillip Powell and Trooper Donnie Foley graduated from KSP Cadet Class #86 on February 25th, 2008.
Trooper Phillip Powell, age 30, is a native of Berea and attended Berea College and Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to joining the KSP, he was an officer with the Richmond Police Department.
>Trooper Donnie Foley, age 32, is a native of Corbin and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Foley is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Army National Guard. He attended Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to joining the KSP, he was an officer with the Chesterfield Virginia Police Department.
