Injury Accident Involving a Bourbon County Sheriff's Deputy

(Dry Ridge, KY) - On December 19, 2008 at approximately 7:07 PM, Kentucky State Police received a call of an injury accident involving a Bourbon County Sheriff's Deputy. The accident occurred at the intersection of Ash Drive and the Paris Bypass. The Sheriff's Deputy involved failed to yield the right of way to an oncoming vehicle, which resulted in a collision. Two parties in the other vehicle were transported to Bourbon Community Hospital with minor injuries. The accident is under investigation by Trooper David Holland. Trooper Holland was assisted at the scene by Bourbon County EMS and Paris Police Department.
