Death Investigation in Harrison County

Date of News Release: 11/14/2008

(Dry Ridge, KY) - At approximately 0258 hours on November 13, 2008, Kentucky State Police, along with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, responded to the residence at 1518 KY Hwy 1743 in Cynthiana reference an unresponsive male. The subject, Damian-Velasco-Toto, Hispanic Male, DOB: 12-28-1983 sustained head injuries resulting from a fall. Mr. Toto was unresponsive at the time of the police unit's arrival and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison County Coroner, Thomas Ware at 0413 hours. Mr. Toto was transported to the Kentucky State Police Medical Examiners office in Frankfort for an autopsy. The case is under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Nate Moore.
