Fatal Crash on Paris Bypass in Bourbon County
Date of News Release: 10/31/2008
(Dry Ridge, KY) - On Thursday October 30th, 2008 Kentucky State Police investigated a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Paris, KY. The collision happened at 7:25 p.m. at the intersection of the Bypass and Peacock Road. Apparently a dump truck was traveling west bound on the Bypass and at the intersection of Peacock Road struck a small 4 door passenger car on the driver's side. The driver of the car, identified as Charles C. Henney, 56 years of age of Paris, was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bourbon County Coroner. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor at this time and everyone involved was wearing their seatbelts. The Kentucky State Police were assisted by Paris Police and Fire Departments, Bourbon County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. The collision is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
