Drug Arrest in Cynthiana, KY

(Dry Ridge, KY) - On Thursday October 30th, 2008 at 1957 hours Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant in Cynthiana, KY. Trooper John Hawkins U/483, along with KSP DESI Units and Harrison County Sheriff's Department arrived at the residence of Johnny Sexton located at 218 North Locust Street. The search of the residence yielded approximately 1 pound of suspected cocaine, a large quantity of processed marijuana, cash in excess of 6,000 dollars U.S. currency, a .45 caliber handgun, and various trafficking paraphernalia. The search warrant was a direct result of a comprehensive investigation conducted by Trooper Hawkins with assistance from KSP DESI units. Mr. Sexton, 50 year old white male, was lodged in the Grant County Detention Center for drug related charges.
