The mission started around 5:30 am, and will go on until all of the 68 have been picked up. Those arrested were processed at the US Army National Guard Headquarters in Carrollton and lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center. This is the largest drug roundup ever at this Post. We have two Detectives that work exclusively with buying drugs. "It was through their determination and hard work that we were able to make these arrests", said KSP Det. Sgt. Vic Hubbuch. Out of the 68 arrest warrants, there are approx. 112 charges pending against these alleged dealers. Out of the 112, only 4 have misdemeanor marijuana drug trafficking, the rest of the 108 charges are felonies. They will be arraigned in the respective county courts where they allegedly sold the drugs. Captain Dean Hayes, Commander of KSP Post-5 said, "drugs pose a significant threat to our community.
