Warren County Pursuit & Arrest

Date of News Release: 11/13/2008

(Bowling Green, KY) - KSP units were in the area of Morgantown Road & Veterans Memorial attempting to locate Timothy L. Sarver regarding local warrants. Upon making contact with Mr. Sarver's vehicle, Trooper Alexander attempted to make a traffic stop and activated his emergency equipment. Mr. Sarver then accelerated at a high rate of speed and attempted to elude pursuing units. As Mr. Sarver attempted to maneuver around slowed traffic on Campbell Lane near McIntosh Drive, he turned into a KSP cruiser being operated by Trooper Larry Davis. Mr. Sarver then surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. There were no injuries as a result of the pursuit or vehicle collision. The violator was lodged in the Warren County Jail. Mr. Sarver was charged with DUI 1st (aggravated, failure to wear seatbelt, no insurance non-owner, no operators license, fleeing/evading police 1st, wanton endangerment 1st, criminal mischief 1st, & parole violation.
