Robbery Investigation in Hart County

Date of News Release: 11/10/2008

(Bowling Green, KY) - Our agency is currently working an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Aunt Bee's Restaurant in Horse Cave around 1730 hours. The suspect stopped off at an area gas station and asked for directions for Bowling Green. He then robbed a female in the parking lot using a semi-automatic handgun and took her purse. The suspect assaulted the female during the robbery and she sustained an injury to her hand. She was transported to Caverna Hospital where she was treated and released. The suspect is a black male with a goatee wearing a blue ball-cap with possibly Chicago Cubs or Chicago Bears logo on it. He was also wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. The suspect left the scene in a two-toned black and gray Dodge Crew Cab Truck. The male subject should be considered armed and dangerous.
