Fatal Collision on US31W in Edmonson County

Date of News Release: 11/09/2008

(Bowling Green, KY) - Juan Lopez was traveling south on US31W when he failed to negotiate a curve. He then traveled off the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a telephone pole. Vehicle then proceeded south and struck several fence posts. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and came to final rest with the vehicle on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Edmonson County Coroner Ed Minyard. The investigation continues.
