News Release

Double Fatal Collision on Dimple Road in Butler County

Date of News Release: 11/05/2008

(Bowling Green, KY) - Gregory Gaskey was traveling east on Dimple Road when the vehicle exited the roadway on the right shoulder and traveled up an earth embankment striking several fence post and became air born. Mr. Gaskey's vehicle made contact with the ground and overturned several times during which the front seat passenger Scottie Gaskey was ejected. The vehicle continued to roll in which the driver Gregory Gaskey and the back seat passenger Robert Gaskey were both ejected. The vehicle came to final rest in a culvert with in the field. Scottie Gaskey was pronounced dead at the scene by Butler County Coroner Marty Jones. Gregory Gaskey was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green by Butler County EMS were he was pronounced dead by Warren County Deputy Coroner Chris Smith. Robert Gaskey was flown by Air Eevac to Vanderbilt Hospital were he is listed in critical condition.
