DUI Injury Collision on I-65 in Warren County

Date of News Release: 08/25/2008

(Bowling Green) - Elizabeth Boyd was merging onto southbound I-65 from the Louie B Nunn Parkway. Ms. Boyd lost control of her car on the rain slick ramp and skidded into the side of a southbound tractor trailer on Interstate 65. Ms. Boyd's vehicle came to final rest off the right shoulder of the roadway of I65. Smiths Grove and Park City FD were able to extricate Ms. Boyd from the vehicle and she was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green by Medical Center EMS. Ms. Boyd was admitted for non-life-threatening injuries. Ms. Boyd was cited to court for charges of DUI 2nd, Driving DUI Suspended 1st, No Insurance. The tractor trailer could not be located at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
