DUI Injury Collision on KY 436 in Hart County

Date of News Release: 08/20/2008

(Bowling Green) - Fayetta Clymer was traveling Westbound on KY 436 (Hundred Acre Pond Road) when she entered a left curve. Ms. Clymer failed to negotiate the curve and exited the right side of the roadway. While off of the roadway Ms. Clymer's vehicle struck a utility pole with the passenger side of her vehicle. Ms. Clymer's vehicle then traveled down an embankment and overturned before coming to a final rest on the roadway facing North East. Ms. Clymer and her passenger (Gavin Clymer, age 4 months) were both transported to T.J. Samson Hospital by the Hart County EMS. Gavin Clymer was later air lifted to Vanderbilt Hospital for treatment of head injuries. Fayetta Clymer was treated and released and later transported to the Hart County Jail charged with DUI 1^st Offense Aggravating Circumstances, Assault 1^st Degree, and Criminal Mischief 1^st Degree.
