DUI Injury Collision on Dunkerson Road in Trigg County

Date of News Release: 11/07/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Mr. Jerry B. Forbes was traveling westbound on Dunkerson Road when he encountered a deer in the roadway. Mr. Forbes steered to avoid the deer, causing his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a utility pole. Mr. Forbes was transported to Jenny Stewart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, where he was treated and released. Upon release, Mr. Forbes was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Jail on charges of DUI 1st offense and Failure of Non-Owner to Maintain Required Insurance. Trooper Paull was assisted on scene by the Cerulean Fire Department and Trigg County EMS.
