Drug Arrest in Graves County

Date of News Release: 10/11/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - On Friday October 10, 2008 Tpr. Joe Gregory responded to a residence in Wingo in reference to a stolen vehicle investigation follow up. While speaking to William C. Spillman, Tpr. Gregory learned that Mr. Spillman possessed Methamphetamine and other controlled substances. A search warrant was obtained for Mr. Spillman's residence where a handgun and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located. Mr. Spillman was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree Firearm Enhanced, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense. Joel Herndon who was also in the residence was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense. Tpr Gregory was assisted on the scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Department. The investigation continues by Tpr. Joe Gregory.
