Trigg County Round-Up "Operation Wildcat"

(Cadiz, KY) - On September 24th, Kentucky State Police led an early morning round-up entitled "Operation Wildcat". At 6:00 AM this morning, Kentucky State Police, Trigg County Sheriff's Office, Cadiz Police Department, Pennyrile Narcotics Taskforce, Hopkinsville Police Department's SIU unit and the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole simultaneously served numerous arrest warrants on individuals in Trigg County.
Operation Wildcat was the culmination of a six month investigation by Kentucky State Police. In March, detectives began investigating complaints of drug trafficking in the Trigg County area. After a lengthy investigation, warrants for twenty-five (25) individuals were issued based on information that was obtained during the investigation.
The following is a list of individuals charged and offenses for which they are charged:

Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense is a class C felony, punishable by up to5-10 years in prison. Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd offense is a class B felony, punishable by up to 10-20 years in prison. As a result of this investigation and arrests, seven (7) vehicles, used in the commission of these illegal drug trafficking offenses, were seized by the Kentucky State Police. Additional charges are pending on other individuals due to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Trigg County, and related investigations. The Trigg County Jail and Christian County Jail personnel assisted in the processing of the arrestees. This investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police. The Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Cadiz Police Department, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Hopkinsville Police Department's SIU unit, the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole, ATF and DEA assisted in the operation.
