Update to Injury (Fatal) Collision on KY 239 in Hickman County

(Mayfield, KY) - As a result of this accident, Mr. Kendall Wilson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt Hospital on June 25, 2008 at 01:35 a.m.

Date of News Release: 06/24/2008
(Mayfield, KY) - Thomas Sims was traveling Northbound on KY 239 in Hickman County when he fell asleep. Mr. Sims' vehicle ran off the left portion of the roadway and struck several trees. The vehicle rolled multiple times and came to final rest. Mr. Sims' passenger, Kendall Wilson, was ejected from the vehicle. The driver and passenger were taken to Parkway Regional Hospital. Air Evac then took the passenger to Vanderbilt Hospital. Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by Hickman County Fire and Rescue, Clinton- Hickman EMS, Clinton Police Department, and Hickman County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Michael Cook.
