Drug Arrest in Benton, KY

Date of News Release: 06/09/2008

(Hickory, KY) -Kentucky State Police arrested a Benton woman last week after a lengthy investigation which included assistance from the DEA. During the multi-agency investigation, KSP and DEA seized approximatley 11 ounces of crystal methamphetamine (street value of appx. $16,500) and as a result, a Federal Indictment was issed for Carolyn Craven. Officer from both KSP and DEA arrested Craven on June 5, 2008 where she was transported to the Federal Court House in Paducah, KY. The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police and the Drug Enforcement Agency.
