Injury Collision on KY 131 in Graves County

Date of News Release: 03/19/2008

(Hickory, KY) - Sandra Lantrip was southbound on KY 131. John Griner was northbound on KY 131. Ms. Lantrip crossed over the center line of Ky 131 striking Mr. Griner's vehicle in the driver's side front headlight area. After the collision, Mr. Griner's vehicle continued off the right side of KY 131 striking an earth embankment and tree and coming to final rest, overturned on its left side. Ms. Lantrip's vehicle continued southbound and came to final rest on the left side of KY 131 in a ditch. The occupants of Ms. Lantrip's vehicle were transported to Western Baptist Hospital, where they were all treated and released. Mr. Griner was transported to Lourdes Hospital where he was treated and released with minor injuries. Trooper Eric Fields was assisted on scene by Trooper Brian Duvall, Symsonia Fire Department and Mayfield-Graves County EMS. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Fields.
