Child Pornography Arrest in Carlisle County

Date of News Release: 03/04/2008

(Bardwell, KY) - A Carlisle County man is behind bars after being charged with nine offenses relating to child pornography. Dale Harp, 38 of Bardwell, turned himself in to Kentucky State Police this morning after a Carlisle County Grand Jury indicted him on 4 counts of Distribution of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor 1st Degree. Harp was also indicted on 5 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance of a Minor. Trooper First Class Clint Davis charged Harp at the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office. The investigation was conducted by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch in Frankfort. Harp is being held at the Hickman County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
