February Activity Report From Post 1

(Hickory, KY) The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of February is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of February 29, 2008 there have been 11 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 5 were not wearing a seatbelt. During the same period in 2007, there were 12 people killed in the Post One area. Statewide, to date, there have been 114 people killed compared to 112 in 2007.
