Injury Collision on Hopewell Road Near Mayfield, KY

Date of News Release: 02/21/2008

(Mayfield, KY) - Tiffany Pugh was traveling north on Hopewell Road near Mayfield. Ms. Pugh crested a hill and noticed a slow moving Graves County Road Department salt truck traveling ahead of her. Ms. Pugh attempted to stop to avoid a collision but was unable to stop due to icy conditions. Pugh's vehicle struck the rear of the salt truck. The impact resulted in minor injuries to Pugh. She was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield for treatment. Trooper Gregory was assisted by Detective John Sims of KSP and the Mayfield/Graves County EMS.
