Criminal Abuse Arrest in Bardwell, KY
Date of News Release: 01/31/2008
(Bardwell, KY) - On Tuesday, January 28th, Kentucky State Police received a complaint from the Department of Community Based Services (Social Services). The complaint involved alleged elder abuse and exploitation in Carlisle County. Detective Barry Rice with the State Police immediately began the investigation into the abuse and on January 30th made two arrests. Tyleaha Solomon, 26 of Fancy Farm, and Mathew Bryman, 41 of Fancy Farm, were both charged with Criminal Abuse 1st Degree, a class C felony. Both were lodged in the Ballard County Jail. KSP was assisted by the Department for Community Based Services, the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office, and the Bardwell Police Department. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Barry Rice with the Kentucky State Police.
