Fatal Collision on US Hwy 60 in Livingston County

(Livingston County) - Kentucky State Police was requested by the Livingston County Sheriff's Department to investigate a one vehicle fatal accident that occurred in Livingston County. Dimitri Croft was operating his 1999 GMC pickup Eastbound on US Hwy 60 when his vehicle left the roadway on the right shoulder and traveled in the ditch line for approximately 250 feet. The vehicle came back onto the roadway where it overturned three times ejecting Mr. Croft. The vehicle came to final rest just off the right shoulder. Deputy Coroner David Koon pronounced Mr. Croft dead at the scene. US Hwy 60 was shut down for approximately an hour and a half at this location. Tpr Jones was assisted at the scene by Tpr Bob Winters, Sgt Sam Steger, Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Livingston County EMS, Smithland Fire Department, and the Livingston County Deputy Coroner. Investigation continues by Tpr Daniel Jones.
