Injury Collision on US 60 in Henderson County
Date of News Release: 11/04/2008
(Henderson, KY) - Thomas W. Farris Jr. was eastbound on US 60 East, while Steven R. Paulin was westbound, and making an opposing left turn. Mr. Paulin turned left in front of Mr. Farris and Mr. Farris could not stop in time. The vehicle operated by Mr. Farris struck the vehicle operated by Mr. Paulin in the right front quarter panel. Mr. Farris's vehicle spun clockwise and traveled outside the south shoulder of the roadway, and struck a concrete culvert and came to final rest facing west. Mr. Paulin's vehicle spun counter clockwise and traveled outside the south shoulder of the roadway and came to final rest facing east. All parties involved were wearing seat belts and airbags deployed in both vehicles. Angela Paulin, Farris T. and Farris J. were transported to the Methodist Hospital for treatment. Paulin S. went to the Methodist Hospital by private vehicle.
