One Injured & One Arrested in Henderson County Collision

(Henderson, KY) - Jonathan J. Baalke, operating a 2001 Ford van, was travelling westbound on the Audubon Parkway. James A. Moore, operating a 2005 Freightliner Semi Tractor and trailer was also westbound on the Audubon Parkway. Mr. Moore had pulled off on the shoulder of the highway and was in the process of pulling back onto the road when Mr. Baalke ran into the rear of his trailer. Mr. Moore continued approx. 1300 feet before stopping on the shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Baalke had to be extricated from his vehicle and was airlifted to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN. Mr. Moore was arrested and charged with operating under the influence-aggravated circumstances. Mr. Moore was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. Charges are pending against Mr. Baalke who was admitted to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
