Update to Multiple Injuries in a Two Car Collision on KY 100

(Columbia, KY) - Wendell "Ellis" creek, age 64, Gamaliel passed away Sunday 4/20/08 at Vanderbilt University Hospital. His wife, Joan Creek, age 62 of Gamaliel remains admitted to Vanderbilt University Hospital listed in critical condition.

(Columbia, KY) - Daniel Clayton Cox, age 48 of Gamaliel was traveling west on KY 100 in a 1997 Chevy Blazer when he crossed the lane to avoid striking a vehicle that was turning in front of him. Mr. Cox struck a 1992 Dodge head on being operated by 54 year old Wendell E. Creek of Gamaliel. Mr. Creek along with a passenger in his vehicle, 52 year old Joan G. Creek, also of Gamaliel were both airlifted to the University of Vanderbilt Hospital. Mr. Cox was treated at Monroe County Medical Center. Seat belts were in use.
